Given his illustrious career, it is no surprise to see 'The Big Fundamental' awarded one of the highest-rated cards in the game, a massive 97 overall. Duncan has a 90+ overall in four of the six main attributes (91 outside scoring, 91 athleticism, 95 inside scoring and 98 reboundings). However, at upwards of 300k, he doesn't come cheap. Nicknamed The Admiral, Robinson was a force to be reckoned with for the San Antonio Spurs for years. He bagged two rings, in 1999 and 2003, as well as winning the 1995 MVP award.

This ended up being the only draft in the 1980s in which the team with the No. 1 pick actually selected the best player. The San Antonio Spurs took "The Admiral" David Robinson, who was named to an All-NBA team in 10 of his 14 seasons and won the 1995 MVP award. One of the best shot-blockers of all time, Robinson helped steer the Spurs to two NBA titles.

The Hall of Famer put up 20,790 points, 10,497 rebounds, 2,441 assists, 2,954 blocks, and 1,388 steals per game throughout his 14-year career, a true menace at both ends of the floor and a pillar of what the San Antonio Spurs would become even a decade after he retired.

Robinson and Duncan had similar playing styles and you could use this card as a cheaper alternative to Duncans 97 rated card or alternatively, drop Robinson back to the power forward role and reignite the Twin Towers partnership on the 2K court!

'09 Bruce Bowen (OVR 92)

• Card Type: Prime VIP
• Position: SF / SG
• Best stats: 98 shot IQ, 98 offensive consistency, 98 hands

Bruce Bowen is one of the best defensive wings in the history of the game, but it took him a lot of time and a lot of games overseas to establish himself as an NBA player.

He made over 600 appearances for the Spurs during his nine years in San Antonio and was quite literally the first name on the teamsheet having started every game in which he appeared for the Spurs. His perimeter defense was elite and helped the team win 3 Championships.

Is it that perimeter defense (94) and it's affiliated stats (95 pics & roll defense IQ, 95 help defense IQ, 94 lateral quickness and 92 reactions time) which stand out in Bowen's in-game stats. For 16k he's a nifty player to have for those who struggle to get stops from beyond the arc.

'82 James Silas (OVR 92)
• Card Type: Legacy
• Position: SG / PG
• Best stats: 98 stamina, 95 offensive consistency, 94 driving layup

Silas started his career with the Dallas Chaparrals before they relocated and became the San Antonio Spurs in 1973. A two-time All-ABA and two-time All-Star, Silas ranks sixth on San Antonio's scoring list, has the eighth-most steals and also had a spectacular 85.5 percent career free-throw percentage. Silas' best season occurred in 1975-76 when he netted 23.8 points, dished 5.4 assists, snared 4.0 rebounds and grabbed 1.8 steals per game. Silas became the first-ever Spurs player to have his number (13) at the end of his playing days.

'14 Tiago Splitter (OVR 89)

• Card Type: Prime VIP
• Position: C / PF
• Best stats: 98 shot IQ, 95 hustle, 91 offensive rebound
• Cost: 1.5k

Splitter was selected by the Spurs as the 28th overall pick in the first round of the 2007 NBA Draft having played European basketball up until then. Part of the last Spurs side to win the NBA title back in 2014, Splitter was known for his dominance in the paint, ending his career with an average of five rebounds per game. During that season, He played in 59 regular-season games (50 starts) and averaged 8.2 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.5 assists across 21.5 minutes. Along the way, he helped his team reach 62 wins for first place in the Western Conference. Come playoff time, the Brazilian suited up for 23 games (18 starts) and averaged 7.5 points, 6.1 rebounds, and 2.0 assists across 22.4 minutes.

He was the team's utility guy — someone who's willing to do everything and anything for the team. Under Popovich's system, Splitter had to man the paint together with legendary forward Tim Duncan, run pick-and-rolls with the nifty Tony Parker, and match the defensive intensity of then-rising star Kawhi Leonard. He succeeded in all the tasks assigned to him and the result: a championship ring as well as a place in history as a member of one of the best teams in the NBA.

It was his rebounding on the offensive board (91 OVR) that was the key to helping his side pick up those second-chance points, whilst his 95 rated hustle meant that he was a difficult man to beat when he had the ball in his sight. For 1.5k he is an ideal center to have in your interchange.
